How to install your License Plate Frame on EU vehicle

Replacing your old license plate frame with new one is not a hard job, that anyone can do by itself without going to a specialized shop. You only need a screwdriver, some self-tapping screws and 20-30 minutes of time.

The first step is to remove you old plate holder. There are numerous different products so we can't give you exact step by step tutorial on this, but in general there are few common things to consider - there is a slat holding the registration plate secure which has to be removed initially; then you have to pull out your plate in order to access the base of the frame - there you will see few screws holding it to the bumper or to the manufacturer designated place; finally unscrew those carefully while holding your old frame in order not to fall and scratch your car.

Once you have removed the old frame and your registration plate it is time to install the new one. Place it on the right position, in most cases exactly where the previous one was, and put the screws using the existing holes or if they don't match don't be afraid of making new ones with the self-tapping screws. The old holes will be covered by you registration number and won't be seen.

Having the base of the frame fastened onto the bumper of your car it is time to insert your license plate. Usually you have to slide it up through the edges of your holder.

Finally, when you have the frame base installed and license plate put on place it is time to secure with the slat, by tapping it on the bottom of the holder. You have noticed that most slats have some advertising text on them which is not so visually appealing for a car enthusiast. This is why you can create your custom design with own text, color and font, place your social media handles, promote your own business or add any logo you would love to have on your car.

In coM5ition.store you can chose from Carbon Style, Gloss Black or just Black license plate holders with premium preset designs or you can create own one by our customization process.
